To this end, our product range encompasses all aspects of electronic management systems which can be integrated with the Fire Detection, Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems which remain the mainstay of our business.

Underlying this philosophy is a very strong engineering base, providing proposal vetting, project management, field installation and commissioning, with training, maintenance and service facilities. FMS Fire and Security implements multidiscipline electronic systems providing initial survey and consultancy, design, development, installation, operational training, documentation and on-going maintenance to protect both people and property.

FMS Fire and Security see their final product as complete electronic systems solutions and the engineering bias within the company reflects this.

Scope of Service;

  • Systems – responsible for the design and implementation of single and multidiscipline systems such as; Fire, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Perimeter Detection to commercial and industrial companies, consulting engineers, architects and construction companies.
  • Service – responsible for providing on-going service and maintenance back up for both existing, proposed and third party systems.

It will be evident from the foregoing that top quality engineering is fundamental to all FMS Fire and Security projects.

Once the client has accepted our proposal/tender, this then becomes a project, and a project file created to control hardware sourcing, system diagram and physical build up, item and system testing. During this process the Engineering Manager will apply further visits to site to ensure all the clients’ needs are being met and agree site facilities and schedules.

On completion of our install full training is given in the operation of the systems and a comprehensive Operating & Maintenance Manual is handed over.

At FMS Fire and Security we don’t stop once the initial installation is complete, we understand that without proper maintenance even the highest quality fire and security systems will degrade over time.

FMS Fire and Security are committed to maintaining the level of service and integrity of our systems, not only at the handover stage, but also throughout the service life of the system.

Our maintenance procedures not only limit the probability of unwanted system failures, but also ensure our customers are confident in the use and reliability of their systems, providing specialist information to our clients in the ever changing world of technology and legislation.

This contract can be extended after warranty to include several levels of cover for emergency callouts. Various levels of standard service contracts are available for emergency callouts and all service engineers are specifically trained and equipped to carry out field repairs.
